Start ‘Em: The Guys You Gotta Play
-
Xavier Worthy (Chiefs): Remember when the Chiefs’ offense suddenly looked like a video game again? Yeah, that was Worthy’s return. He was Mahomes’ favorite target against the Ravens, racking up yards in the air and on the ground. The Jags are giving up yards to WRs, especially those lined up wide, which is Worthy’s sweet spot. Until Rashee Rice is back to full strength, Worthy has massive potential.
Update: Don’t let the ankle injury scare you! Reports say Worthy is still expected to play.
-
A.J. Brown (Eagles): Last week was a bummer, but let’s not forget Brown’s talent. He saw a ton of targets against the Bucs, and he’s been getting consistent volume the past few weeks. The Broncos’ defense is tough, but Brown’s upside is too high to ignore. Plus, with rumors swirling about keeping Brown happy, expect a big game.
-
Garrett Wilson (Jets): Wilson’s been on fire lately, with 21 targets in his last two games and touchdowns in three of four. The Cowboys are getting torched by WRs, especially on deep balls. Fire up Wilson with confidence.
-
Quentin Johnston & Keenan Allen (Chargers): It’s time to admit that many were wrong about Johnston. He’s been a reliable force in the Chargers’ offense, leading in target and air yard share. Allen is right behind him, dominating end zone targets. The Football Team is struggling against deep passes, which plays perfectly into Johnston’s strengths. Start them both!
-
Chris Olave (Saints): Olave’s been a target hog, second in the league only to Puka Nacua. The Giants are giving up a ton of catches and yards to WRs, especially on deep passes. Olave’s ceiling is sky-high this week.
-
Curtis Samuel (Commanders): Samuel’s been a fantasy stud, and with Terry McLaurin dealing with an injury, Samuel could be the top target again. The Chargers are vulnerable to slot receivers and YAC, which is where Samuel thrives. If Jayden Daniels is playing, Samuel is a strong start.
Sit ‘Em: Bench These Guys
-
Michael Thomas (Saints): Thomas had a decent game last week, but his volume is inconsistent, and he’s not catching the ball well. The Chiefs are tough against wide receivers, so Thomas is a risky play.
